Princess was sick

Yesterday afternoon while I was out Princess found her flea/tick collar .She chewed it a bit before My Husband got it and He assumed that because there were no pieces missing and it looked like it was just a piece that got chewed off that she didnt swallow anything .When I got home I called the vet and they told me to watch her and so long as she was eating ,which she was and overeating actually ! that she was okay but for me to call the ASPCA Poison helpline and the makers of the collar to check on the info they would give me .The ASPCA told me to watch her for the same things the vet told me ,and gave me a number to reference back for later (the charge for this was free to me because the makers of the collar provide for it (not sure if thats good or bad ).In the afternoon and evening Princess is always a lazy bones but come around 9pm or so She goes wild and runs around and hides under pillows on beds to jump out at you when you come near the bed side.Well 9:30 came around and she was still sleepy I called the ASPCA again and got the nearest animal hospital number ,I took her in and she stayed over night ,they gave her antidote and IV fluids and She is home resting at the moment .She was more than happy to see Awesome and my Human Son Justin and has walked around to smell her food and go potty in her puppy potty place.Sheesh I thought it was heartbreaking being in the ER with a human child ,This seems so much worse! I have to call our Vet and get them updated ,Thanks for letting me vent .
