fireworks came and went
We went to a friends house and Dad took me and Princess swimming for a few seconds then we laid in the shade and had speedy meat and some burgers .There were lots of people around and they all loved us lots ! then we went home and at night after bed the fireworks began .We werent bothered by the fireworks really ! The loud ones started about 10:30 those ones I kinda growled about a little bit but then Mom took me to the window to look out and we saw something much cooler than the sky lighting up with fireworks on the horizon.What we saw was a field filled with fireflys .Mom said they look like little diamonds shining I think I wanted to chase them! Our fireworks are put on about 3 miles away from our house and we could see the sky light up and the booms but Princess slept right thru it ! Hope everyone else had a great time !
Princess was sick
Yesterday afternoon while I was out Princess found her flea/tick collar .She chewed it a bit before My Husband got it and He assumed that because there were no pieces missing and it looked like it was just a piece that got chewed off that she didnt swallow anything .When I got home I called the vet and they told me to watch her and so long as she was eating ,which she was and overeating actually ! that she was okay but for me to call the ASPCA Poison helpline and the makers of the collar to check on the info they would give me .The ASPCA told me to watch her for the same things the vet told me ,and gave me a number to reference back for later (the charge for this was free to me because the makers of the collar provide for it (not sure if thats good or bad ).In the afternoon and evening Princess is always a lazy bones but come around 9pm or so She goes wild and runs around and hides under pillows on beds to jump out at you when you come near the bed side.Well 9:30 came around and she was still sleepy I called the ASPCA again and got the nearest animal hospital number ,I took her in and she stayed over night 
alt=” width=”18” height=”18” />,they gave her antidote and IV fluids and She is home resting at the moment .She was more than happy to see Awesome and my Human Son Justin and has walked around to smell her food and go potty in her puppy potty place.Sheesh I thought it was heartbreaking being in the ER with a human child ,This seems so much worse! I have to call our Vet and get them updated ,Thanks for letting me vent .

If passed this bill will ban ALL “pit bull” dogs within the state of Ohio and give owners 90 days to surrender your dog for euthanasia by the dog warden. If they suspect you have a pit they can get a search warrant and come and search and seize your dog. This is awful!

Ticks are disgusting vile little creatures
Mom is beyond furious! She is also totally grossed out She found two ticks on my snout today ! I am a good boy and lie still while they remove them .One of them did’nt want to come out and I may have to go to the vets tomorrow to make sure its all gone! SO Mom is also “Ticked” because she Gives me Revolution once a month and it does not seem to be working as well as she thinks it should!
The Tick bite I got the other day seems to be healing very slowly .It was scary at first because It was a bullseye rash and now it just looks like a bruise .Mom cleans all the tick bite areas with peroxide and puts neosporin on them too.She shaved me even more though to make sure she wasnt missing any So now I look like a chihuahua .Princess was very naughty and when Mom tried to shave her she went wild and would not sit still ,Dad even tried to help but Mom and Dad did not want to hurt her so they used a towel to wrap her legs up and lay her on her back And then they checked her instead of clipping her face fur ? I will not allow photos to be taken of me in the state that I am in .No way Jose !
I am glad that its warm out otherwise I may freeze my tushie off !
Any and all advice for tick prevention would be greatly appreciated ! I am thankful I have yet to have a flea on me !
Its tick season GRRRRRRR
We went for a walk yesterday ,It was fun ! We took a hike and met lots of dogs .We met two tibetan terriers ,and we met a whole bunch of other dogs including a little collie looking dog.Then we got home and had baths .But mommy missed under my front leg and there later on last nite mom found a tick ….
Daddy pulled it out 
And it left a nasty mark and mom cleaned it and put neosporin on it .and she called the Vet today to ask about why it looked bruised .I was immunized last year for lyme and I get Revolution every month for fleas ticks and heartworm but the vet said even though that may help nothing is 100% positive and the humans should keep a close eye on me for symptoms of lyme in the next few weeks.Those symptoms are lethargy,loss of appetite and limping or stiffness in the legs .If anyone knows more about this that what we are writing here and want to share their knowledge please email us .So far I am ok.
grrrr I left myself a gift
ok so incase anyone was wondering I was trying to leave a gift for a pup friend family of mine and I dont know wth happened but I left it for myself …..something should have told mom to stay off the PC till she got more sleep
I think she will try once more but after that I have to wait till I get more coins !!!
Giardia SUCKS
No really the little parasites sit in your belly and suck ! And So far I am doing much better ! but Princess still has some bad gas and doodies! We were on some strong medicines and mom locks us in one end of the house while she bleaches the other end and then it dries and she she cleans our feet and hinies and does the end we were in ,She bought a floor steam cleaner cause we dont have carpets .She is making us our food Boiled chicken and rice right now and she just got a new book called “Home prepared dog and cat diets the healthful alternative: so far she is learning lots of stuff and once we are all better she will be making our food for always and forever! The recipes and instructions in the book tell how to keep our diets balanced.So we wait and watch mom clean and in a few more weeks we go back and give doodie samples.Yesterday was Moms Birthday and she wanted to share her carrot cake with us but knows it would make our tummys sick! So thats that ! Going to go find some more new friends on MDS and post some comments ! Have a nice night all

Okay so yesterday Mom took Justin to a homeschool maple sugaring event ,It was very rainy and a bit chilly.Princess and I got to stay home with Dad.we laid around the morning till Mom got back and then Dad headed out for a job.Mom went down the basement and said some things that I can’t repeat here.Apparently All the rain and the snow melting rose the creek under the house enough to put 8 inches of water (smelly water) in the basement.and the sump pump try as it may just could not keep up.The sump pump did however provide enough suction to draw the water down along with most of the stuff at the far other side of the basement.So what mom saw was about 3 inches of water ,stuff strewn here and there and the plastic shelves she used for her ebay packing supplies were tipped over.The really bad part is that because of the water The boiler didnt work last night so we are really cold and Mom has Justin ,Me and Princess sitting on top of a heated blanket and under a faux fur one.Its 27 degree outside,The thermometer reads 59 in here but a family friend will be over today to fix the boiler.So Mom also won’t let me down the basement till its cleaned and all the floor is dryed 
.Spring please come soon but be hot enough to evaporate the water as the snow melts
