Rocky here. Leader and Mama thank you guys for the birthday wishes!

There was cake for the two birthdays! Since in Mexico, January 6th is a special holiday (think of it like Christmas in th USA) there was also this fruit cake called Rosca de Reyes, that has a little present inside. I wanted to dig it right out! What? I thought it was for me to dig out.

Oh, the pack kept a secret from us! We are mad about it. Grandma has been at the hospital not feeling good. She's been there right before New Year's Eve. You know how important Grandma is to us? She's practically our second Mama! We visit her a lot because she loves seeing us there. We give her comfort. We've known her since we came home to live with the pack. I always sit next to her feet to keep her warm. She finally got out today and we are going over there to tell her we are sorry we couldn't visit her at the hospital. No wonder Mama and Papa were gone so much. Nobody knows how to cheer her up more than we do.

We are off to see Grandma until she's better!

Yesterday there was a little earthquake. It was in San Bernardino, CA. We felt the aftershock. It was so little that I slept through it. I love to sniff the ground and around so when an earthquake comes, I am usually pretty good at knowing about it. You'll see me under the table for cover.

From the moment Barry and Debbie Fisher wake up, Shoven anxiously keeps watch, dreading the moment they leave for work. Once the door is closed, they can hear Shoven's shrill bark all the way to the car and are greeted with the same sound when they arrive back home. Shoven's separation anxiety doesn't stop there. He will also go into a barking, whirling, uncontrollable frenzy whenever anyone leaves the car in which he is riding.

ABOUT THE DOG: Leo was found at the Orange County Animal Shelter, but he came with a curious condition. Whenever Lori coughs, Leo will go out the doggie door to the backyard and climb up onto the fence and walk around, as if on a tight rope. This is distressing because he sometimes falls off and hurts himself or he'll jump off the other side and run away. When he gets out of the backyard, he loves cruising around the neighborhood. He's been found by the neighbors several times and has shown up at the local shelter twice. Sometimes, Lori will even find him pawing at their front door at 2am.

something about Leo: He was adopted from our local shelter! We are supposed to go there if we ever get lost.

Hi Teddy! Mom is FINALLY sending barks for us again. Well trying to anyway! She was sending them earlier and the site went crazy again.. We'll see how many she can send out without deleting anybody else…she‘s already deleted two furends today! She's been sick with a sinusfection and she went to the Dogter to get a shot...she WANTED one but she didn't get in the arm where she wanted it...so you know what that means! Guess that'll teach her..BOL

 Teddy, Hello friends!! Today is a mixture of emotions for us today. We will start with the good news, the lab in our blog found a forever home. We are leaving the blog up to remind people what happens when a dog is used for breeding purposes only. Also, it helps stress the importance of adopting for life and spaying and neutering your animals.

The news that absolutely broke our hearts today is the passing of Butch. Butch always made us feel welcome. He was the first one to dance with Anastasia at our first MDS pawty, the 50’s pawty. And his dedication to GODIG was remarkable. Butch we will see you someday over the rainbow bridge. Save a dance for Anastasia.
