I want to tell you how much Mom and I enjoyed the video clips you put on your page. It was wonderful seeing all those children with their pits. It speaks volumes about what pits are like when they are not trained to fight or kill. Pits are, by nature of our breed "people dogs". We bond with our family and love other people. Unless trained otherwise, the only way my breed will hurt people is if we are trained to do so my.

Last night my sister and brother-in-law came to see us. I think I almost malled them but it was because I was so glad to see them. I just wanted to kiss them all over. They don't mind, they love me too. They are pit lovers too. My brother has been here most of the week, helping to take care of my pop who just had back surgery. I love my brother almost as much as I love Mom and Pop. He is Lady Bell's human. He just loves dogs, any dog.

We pits can be animal agressive if not well trained and supervised. That is in our nature too.  But hey, I live with a cat and I don't bother her except to try to get her to play with me. She, however, is a gurmpy old thing and wants to sleep and eat all the time and won't have anything to do with anyone but Pop. When I first came to live in this home, Mom and Pop had 5 cats and I didn't bother any of them. They just died because they were old. I had nothing to do with it.  I am nice to Lady Bell when she visits too. But several years ago, Dogstar and my Mom took great care to make us friends. Ladey Bell spent the weekend with us not too long ago. We got along fine. But now there is a yellow Lab agross the street. His owners let him run around the neighborhood unsupervised. Once he came running into our yard and up to the front gate. He was barking and growling and trying to get through the closed gate. I let him know right away that this is my yard and he is not allowed in without his owner. My pop went across the street and told the owner to keep his dog at home and that we would not be responsible for his dog getting his nose bit if he poked it through the gate again. I am not allowed to go out of that gate unless I have my horness on and Mom or Pop at the other end of the leash and then I go right to pop's truck.  We pits are wonderful family loving dogs and it is high time you pit owners get the word out. Thank your mom for me.

Sorry it is taking us a while to answer barks this week. Grammy says she forgot how much work babies are. Maybe she is getting senile, because it hasn't been that long! My cousin Mikayla has lived with us since she was born and she is only 16 months now! Besides, I've been doing most of the babysitting! Here I am watching the girls....

and trying to convince them it is nap time! But things will be back to normal by the weekend when we are down to just one! Great news about that! My great grammy has volunteered to drive Ebony back to Michigan so Grammy & Grampy can stay with ME! I knew those 3 days whining and pouting would pay off! Gotta go...They're waking up! I IZ SOOO MAD! Otis & Sully, how much is a ONE WAY ticket to Iowa? I'm running away! Thought they learned their lesson last week when they left without me! They are heading back to Michigan in 8 hrs. and they are NOT takin me! Something about takin the 17 yr old back for school! Said they didn't have room! Is it my fault the kid brought most of what he owns to come for the summer? He didn't even use half that crap! And another thing...why does he get to stay in Michigan anyway? He doesn't waaaant to stay in Ohio, he doesn't waaaant to go to school here! Where was I when we were voting on this issue? I don't remember anyone asking ME if I wanted to move here! The bloody state wants to kill me, for dawg's sake!! Yet I stay and HE goes? Grammy said that they are only gonna be gone for two days. TWO DAYS!?!

Are you kidding me? Told grammy I could sit on her lap. She said, "We won't be doing that AGAIN!" So here I am, stuck at home for the weekend with NO computer priviledges! GRRRRRRRR! Wait til they see what I'm gonna chew up THIS time!
