I am a brindle great dane who was brought into rescue because my old family moved and couldn't take me or my sister. so my current mom fell in love with me and i stayed with her. there is a special connection i feel for her and she feels for me. and i know she loves me very much. i would protect her with all i have. i woke up one morning two years ago and couldn't walk on my hind legs and it was very painful. mom took me to the doctors right away instead of going to work and then we went to a hospital far away. they had to work on me and i was there three days. but mom stayed with me. they say there was a blood clot in my spine and that it would go away. so mom carried me everywhere. even out to go potty. i am better now but week in the rear but mom doesn't care she loves me anyway. there are three sisters i have,, and we have helped several more danes to find good homes. mom says i am her ambasador for great dane. i guess that is because i am GREAT.

I am a black dane with white chest and feet. I am a princess. I am an alfa female. I like to be in control of the other animals in the family. and I have to jump in if the others are having fun. I am called the fun police. Everyone calls me the licker dog. just because I love to give kisses, and i use my whole tongue. I do not like to go outside when it is raining. I am a princess after all and i my melt.

She had bone cancer and the pain got to be too much...so mom sent me to heaven....

I am a merle girl, one of eight kids. I was born into my moms hands and she fell in love with me that moment. i have had a few problems in my life. Both of my back knees are bad and i have had to have a TPLO surgery on one of them. We then found out i have addisons disease. Both of these happened when i was under a year old. But none of that has stoped me. I am a lover and you can't help but see me and fall in love. Anyway that is what my mom tells  me. When i lay down next to her i kinda lay on top of her so i get as close as i can. Mom has had to replace a lot of shoes, socks and underware. i love to tear up things. i even tear up kleenex, and toilet paper if i can get my mouth on them. If i get a stuffed animal i try to quickly get the stuffin out of them. and i love doing it so much. Delilah use to boss me around but i am bigger than her and i can hold my own. we all love each other and keep mom on her toes.

I am the newest to the family. I am a brindle female puppy. I was about 10 weeks old when my mom took me into her heart and home. I was pretty sick when she got me but with a lot of love and good food and medicine, i am the happy, healthy, rambunctious 1 year old youngester you see today. i am spayed now that i am healthy. my mom says that she doesn't breed because she rescues. Breeding she says is to better the breed and she has her hands full with rescuing dogs like us. I hope to get into obidence trials. it sounds like fun and who know what all life has planned for me.

Penny is a blue great dane. she loves to have someone her own age to play with.. She has settled into our family very well. and she loves to get lots of love from her new mom...  We will be working on her manners. like no jumping on anyone, coming when called and etc.  she usually sits or lays by mom unless she is playing with kenya..

penny passed away 12-30-08 after being spayed..we have no reason why.. our hearts and spirts are broken...we miss her terribley..
