I wanted to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and kind words left for Princess Gigi and her family. MDS is such a wonderful group of caring and compassionate friends. Unfortunately, Gigi's daddy had another stroke this week and passed away. Please keep this family in your prayers. If you would like to send condolences, I'm sure they would be appreciated. Many of you know the beautiful Princess Gigi. Her and her family are in need of all the love, support, and prayers you can send. Her daddy had several strokes over the summer, which is why they haven't been barking. I would like to pass on the latest email we received from Gigi's mom...

It has been a very hard few weeks. Ed is home now with hospice. They started him on morphine yesterday for his pain. He has gotten very weak and lost a bunch of weight. I don't think it will be long now and he will be in a much better place. He will get to see our son again. Timmy was killed in a car wreck in 2004. Ed and Timmy were very close.  Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I don't mind if you let the others know what is going on. If you get a chance I would love for you to visit Timmy's website.

Just popping in to say Hello and let you know I'm back....my Mum hasn't logged onto this site for a while because we've been busy moving house and then she started a new job.  She's a lot more busy now but the money's good and she spends more on treats for me now!  Except I wasn't allowed any of the choc-hazelnut cupcakes she made for her Mum's 60th birthday, 'cause she and Dad said that chocolate was really bad for dogs.  Bugger!  If it's supposed to be so bad for dogs, I can't understand why humans are always scoffing it!  One of life's great mysteries I guess.  They BETTER cook me a nice big steak to make up for that!

Hope you've been doing well and that you both had a wonderful 4th of July.  Mum and Dad both had to work, but hey, we have our Australia Day so we can't begrudge you your special US holiday.  Hope you had fun....and plenty of yummy treats of course!
