Hi...my name is Astrid. I was adopted from the Santa Cruz Humane Society in Nogales, AZ in December 2006 when I was two. I'm three and a half now and I live in North Carolina. We moved to North Carolina just five months after being adopted by my mom and dad. I go to day camp twice a week and I'm working on my CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Certificate and my Delta Therapy Dog certification. Yep...I could brag on and on about how smart, pretty, and loving I am but you know what? There are shelters across the country full of dogs just like me. If you know someone looking for a canine companion, especially a BIG canine companion something like me, please tell 'em my story and to ADOPT, DONT SHOP! Thank you.

OOOO Astrid ...it's BATH day on MDS..look what our MOM did to us!!!Oh it turned out to be nice after all yesterday the clouds and yucky weather went away ..so right after work..we had a blast outside..
Sugar and the sheps...cleared the yard of squirrels!!! And then Sugar went on a secret mission to get a winter/fall moth...she kept playing with it..and then OH OH ...!!!LOL...Mom took pictures of it...she ran to get her camera..first she thought it was a BEE..and then realized it was a MOTH...Sugar was jumping in the air..and then Sasha came over to see what she was doing...and the two of them..with this feisty moth....
YIKES ...an elevator..ooo boy are you special!!!! WOW we never even saw one!!! And then caribou coffe walk too...goodness you had a real special day!!!

OK I confess mom just got me to pose in the tub at home I knew I wasn't going to get a bath inside as you can see I just fit in the tub. I get baths outside or in the tub at work. My Aunt Liberty is actually getting a bath in the tub at work. She don't look very happy does she?

wanted to thank everyone for all the delicious biscuits and we are glad you
enjoyed ours. We ate so many that we are stuffed!! With our bellies full and
the stress of the workers, we are so glad it is bathtub day. But let’s make
sure we have all essentials for a bath. Ok we have some bubbles..

Oh Astrid, you've talked about the Carabou Coffee before,our mom is so jealous! She loves coffee shops, and we are in a very small town so unless we go to the city, she doesn't get to go much. We had one for a while but it went out of business. But mom sure gave them her business every week! Ooooo, talking about coffee made us have to potty and we think we need a bath. Since Tuesday is bath day, think we'll take one.
