Rocky here. Leader and Mama thank you guys for the birthday wishes!

There was cake for the two birthdays! Since in Mexico, January 6th is a special holiday (think of it like Christmas in th USA) there was also this fruit cake called Rosca de Reyes, that has a little present inside. I wanted to dig it right out! What? I thought it was for me to dig out.

Oh, the pack kept a secret from us! We are mad about it. Grandma has been at the hospital not feeling good. She's been there right before New Year's Eve. You know how important Grandma is to us? She's practically our second Mama! We visit her a lot because she loves seeing us there. We give her comfort. We've known her since we came home to live with the pack. I always sit next to her feet to keep her warm. She finally got out today and we are going over there to tell her we are sorry we couldn't visit her at the hospital. No wonder Mama and Papa were gone so much. Nobody knows how to cheer her up more than we do.

We are off to see Grandma until she's better!

Yesterday there was a little earthquake. It was in San Bernardino, CA. We felt the aftershock. It was so little that I slept through it. I love to sniff the ground and around so when an earthquake comes, I am usually pretty good at knowing about it. You'll see me under the table for cover.

ABOUT THE DOG: Leo was found at the Orange County Animal Shelter, but he came with a curious condition. Whenever Lori coughs, Leo will go out the doggie door to the backyard and climb up onto the fence and walk around, as if on a tight rope. This is distressing because he sometimes falls off and hurts himself or he'll jump off the other side and run away. When he gets out of the backyard, he loves cruising around the neighborhood. He's been found by the neighbors several times and has shown up at the local shelter twice. Sometimes, Lori will even find him pawing at their front door at 2am.

something about Leo: He was adopted from our local shelter! We are supposed to go there if we ever get lost.

Hi my sweet furrends
How are you today? Im good. Its still cold here today. Woke up to 11 degrees suppose to get warmer on Friday and I cant wait. Mom bought me a treat yesterday and that thing was huge BOL and I already gobbled it up. Mom was shocked BOL. Anyhow not much going on today. Just keeping warm. Have a wonderful day. Stay warm.

Hi my furrends
I hope everyone is well and being good BOL. Im having a sad day today. I just found out that my moms friends dog passed away. His name is Ozzy and he got hit by a car. I didnt really know him to well but mom said he was a sweet dog and loved everyone. But hes at the Rainbow Bridge now and hes safe and happy and will always remember what love they gave him. Ok enough of me.. Have a good day everyone. Its gonna be a cold one here. Did you here yesterday in alaska was -45 thats cold.... Im glad its gonna be 20's here BOL.. Bark at you all laters.

Sorry that we havent posted in a while. Its been a busy New Year Already. Mom is feeling alittle better and she is going on a diet and exercise so she can look good for summer. My brother and sisters go back to school tomorrow. Mom says she needs a break bad BOL. Its cold again in the zeros. I just cant wait tell Spring just think 2 more months and it will get warmer. Mom bought me a new ball yesterday. My other favorite one got a big hole in it.We had a movie night last nite and my sisters are still sleep BOL. Mom is gonna try to write everyone at nite now so she can get her exercise and not sitting on the computer as much. Have a good day

Hi Pack,

Wow, the new year is finally here! We gave our kisses to leader. It was pretty foggy outside that day and today. I told Rocky that I had gone blind. He said, he might have too and Panchita, her three! Then leader told us that nope, it was that foggy.  Boy, we slept so late that we woke up really late today so we went to our walks to wake ourselves up. The party wasn't even over and we did have a little small quiet one today. We were at our best and mom and leader made tamales and we gave some to brother's Argentinian girl. Mmm, her family just loves tamales. She's a dog lover and convinced brother to get Rocky. Thanks to her, we are all here!

Jody's Giant Lhasa Ap-petite

BREED: Lhasa Apso
AGE: 2 Years

ABOUT THE DOG: Jody enormous appetite was thought to be normal puppy behavior, but she's eating her new family, the Hueys, out of house and home. The Lhasa Apso will chow on anything she can get her paws on. If it's left on the floor, it's as good as gone. Jody once swallowed needles from a sewing kit, which resulted in a $600 vet visit. If anyone tries to remove objects from her mouth, Jody will bite without hesitation. She's even picked up a nasty habit of eating her own feces.

Hi Pack,

Happy New Year! Got any resolutions this year?

Rocky: to find all the tennis balls hidden. To get as many new smells as possible. Leader wants me to be less strong-willed and determined. I'm a Foxy Doxy aren't I?

Olivia: I dare for more challenges. Leader wants me to be rehabilitated. I can be the laziest dog ever (I dare to see a more lazy dog than me), but I sure got energy. I just need to drain more energy than the other two. I definitely got the legs for it. Leader and I go on our one-our-one walks before we go on pack walks and been awesome!  I'm seeing the world in a new way. Today we were even told we were the cutest dogs ever! Duh? Every dog is cute!

Panchita: I want to lick and kiss my way through everything but I have to beat leader to that. Leader thinks I give too many kisses. Leader and the pack wants me to be spayed this year. Our city allows free spay so my health says I'm set to go.

Leader: For the rest of the pack to be leaders before lovers.
