Hello, my name is Jacob Luke but my parents call me Jake...actually they call me Jakie.  When my mommy and daddy first got me I was only 5 months old and was recovering from a broken leg that I got by stepping in a drain in my kennel at the humane society.  I also had a bad case of kennel cough and an ear infection, but when my mommy saw me it was love at first sight.  Back then, my name used to be Snoopy, but I didn't care for it much.  My mommy and daddy named me after two guys in the Bible.  My mommy tells me that she named me Luke because her heart was broken because she had to let my older brother (I never got to meet him but mommy says I will when I get to Heaven) Otis to go to Heaven.  He was real sick mommy said.  She tells me that Luke in the Bible was a doctor and that she needed me to heal her heart.  I'm pretty sure I did. 

I'm 3 years old and I get a birthday party every year.  My mommy said she would put some pictures on here of them.

I have 2 brothers and a sister but they look different then me and they make this weird meow sound.  I like to poke at them and jump up and down in front of them...they get so mad, it's a lot of fun when they pin their ears back and growl at me.  I just think that is the funnest thing to do other than play with squeakers. 

My mommy and daddy take me to Happy Tails Doggie Daycare every week.  I have a lot of friends there.  I love doggie daycare. 

I love to run.  I really like to get a toy and make other doggies jealous sometimes they will even chase me if it's a toy they want real bad.  I'm super friendly, it seems like EVERYONE wants to be my friend except for my brothers and sister. 

I love to get belly rubs.  I'll let you in on a little secret...I'm a good boy most of the time but if I'm in trouble I just show my mommy and daddy my tummy and they seem to forget all about it.  Also, if I want something I pull out the whole tummy trick and usually get it. 

I really do have the best life. Mommy and Daddy tell me that my black spots are God's fingerprints.  I'm not to sure what that means but I get a lot of kisses when they tell me so it must be good. I'm so glad God gave me to my mommy and daddy.
