My mom says her vet can always use linen donations as can ANY vet. Anything you have laying around, whether it be towels, blankets, sheets, collars, etc. My vet can even take in any drugs you may have left over that your pets didn’t take for one reason or another. They are NOT resold- just given to pets less fortunate. My mom gave Princess’ left over thyroid meds, pain meds and flea control meds that I had no use for. I will caution you that using previous pet’s meds on your new comer without a vet’s consent does NO GOOD for your new comer. I took Princess’ pain meds after my spay surgery but ONLY AFTER my doc said it was OK and told my mom how to give them to me. Hope all my petpals are doing well! Licks-N-Laughs, Gracie

Spare collars? Especially the UK pals!!
Fionna: I am completing my degree in Three Dimensional Art in the Landscape (sculpture) as part of my final year I have to produce a major piece of work. I am attempting to create a memorial to all the unwanted dogs destroyed in the UK, according to the Dogs Trust figures that is not far off 8,000 in the last 12 months.
I need a collar to represent each dog- please search your cupboards and see if you have any to spare- if you can please ask at your vets, dog club and amoung your doggy friends, and anywhere /one else you can think of. It dosent matter what condition they are in. I will pay postage, or arrange collection. I really need the bulk of the collars by mid January.
Thank you, Fionna Ashman
