I don't purchase any amish products after I saw a video of a puppy mill sell being held by the Amish. Here I thought they were such nice people but after that I refused to buy any more Amish things.

I've been reading a book "A Rare Breed of Love". It's about a woman that rescued a dog from a puppy mill. Since then she has spent years trying to get laws passed to shut down puppymills. The book is very informative but also sad. There are some horrific pictures of what she's seen on her journey. It's hard to believe that a human being could be so cruel and inhumane to an animal but it happens every day. |

I never know about what a puppy mill was till after I had adopted Sasha Lynn and Tasha Marie (their former home was one of the worst puppymills in the one county 169 dogs and 89 cats). When I noticed that poor Tasha had been breed with not only a larger dog, but so many times that her skin was so loose on her little body, I just could not imangin how someone could be so hartless and cruel. And to find out that Sasha was actually stolen out of her Breeders yard and placed in that horrible place, it made me sick. Now knowing I try to do my best to educate others, I have even scared away potential buyers from stores that I know get their puppies from mills. A good web site to take a peek at is http://www.stoppuppymills.org/
