Yes! Visit forum > fun > recipes. Also on our mom's blog (view all, she's quite chatty) look for V -Day Treats. Otherwise, avoid recipes with corn (meal) or wheat (flour or germ) ~ they are the top two allergens for dogs.

Thank you so much. After reading the ones you have on your site  and also reading tons we found online we came up with our own recipe.

We used dog shapes and letters to spell there names.

Here is  what the looked like.

I made some treats for Panda a couple weeks a go that she went NUTS over. She would stand below the jar of treats and whine (she never does that with anything!) Plus, I just used stuff around the house...

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1 pack of Matzo ball mix

1 cup creamy peanut butter (although crunchy would probably work too)

1 Tbsp garlic powder

1 egg

Mix Dry ingrediants in bowl. Add wet ingrediants, mix again. Roll out dough, and use some cute cookies cutters. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes. You'll know they are done if you lift one up, it should be golden brown on the bottom.

I know, peanut and garlic butter, uck! I got the idea from my friend who works at the bakery at Wag and Wash and said the peanut butter/garlic is all the doggies favorite. Seems to be true!

Wow... i didn't know peanut butter was so good for dogs! I have a child on WIC who gets TONS of peanut butter and I never know what to do with it... and we have SOOOO much of it... I have 4 dogs so this will be good... I get so scared of some of the ingredients in dog food... my 2 year old thought that it would be a good idea to get into the bag of  Ol' Roy (ick) bacon strip snacks... and share them between her and the dogs... one dog got sick on them and then today she got sick herself and threw up the remainder of what I believe was the bacon strips... I don't want to feed my dogs anything I don't want my 2 year old to accidentally eat... you know how small kids are...into everything...

SUE and all of the fosters love this Kong Stuffing recipe that we got from our vet.

Kong Stuffing

1 can pumpkin (not pie filling - just straight pumpkin)

1 jar creamy peanut butter

1 block cream cheese

Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth.

Stuff Kongs with mix.  Put Kongs in freezer overnight. Serve Kongsicles at will.  Refrigerate any leftover stuffing and repeat when Kongsicle is empty.

They absolutely love it - and a frozen Kong filled with this frozen stuffing will occupy a dog for hours!  The peanut butter provides lots of protein and the pumpkin provides fiber.
