Hi!  I am (will be on may 3) new dog owner.  I am doing some research, like any new mom, on dog food and other stuff.  I am a gogreen type of gal.  I eat only organic food and would want my dog to do the same.  So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any organic dog food that was good and reasonable in price. Or natural food that is excellent in quality.  I only want to give my lil Logan the best.

I'm sure Tina will suggest her food...Nature's Abundance I believe it is, but I'll let her fill that in. I am just writing to make sure that you keep pup on current food for a while before switching, and when you do, do so slowly. Mix the two and gradually add in more of the new food. It's helpful to keep them on whatever they are eating (even if it's below your standards) because it's stressful enough to go to a new home and there is no need to make it moreso.

Maggie ~ it is great you are taking such a proactive approach to your pet's health. It will pay off! Yes, holistic food will cost more, but you will feed less, so the bag lasts longer. In this health, diet, and vet section of forum, there are many threads where you will get lots of good info. tina
