i hear so much talk about giving doggies cheese and yogurt... is it good for them? should i incorporate it into Belle's diet?? She eats Royal Canin Yorkie #28...

I understand that diary products are not too good for dogs, in excess. I think if they are used to it, it's not so bad, but then again, not in excess. Sierra gets a puppy ice cream every night, which is made with non fat yogurt and peanut butter, (the size of a cupcake) and she is ok with it. Granted, she's also 82 lbs and she's been eating this...oh pretty much her whole life. She also gets a 1/2 slice of cheese if she has to take a capsule pill. (That's rare).

Yogurt has many great properties (as it is good for humans, it is good for dogs, in moderation) a few good probiotics
