New Vet

Howdy all, I'm looking for a new vet in the Prince William area of VA.
I'd like to find one that is pro-titer and less heavy on the drug courses, I don't totally discredit the drug companies as they do work miracles I can personally attest to but it bothers me that the options are never explained and the idea of, "your dog needs this, this and this" just doesn't hold with information I have read and trusted sources have told me.
The main reasons are the vet I have been using since I was old enough to own a dog just doesn't feel the same, this is a busy place and I'm sure it isn't intentional on part of the doctors and staff and more my own issues. I don't expect my dogs to be coddled but I don't like feeling like I'm taking a number and waiting for my pizza to be ready. The doctors seem to be turning over at a quick rate to and that has me wondering. I've had a couple of other issues but my intention here isn't to blame but to look forward.
I'm probably not a real good customer when it comes to this, my dogs are a part of my family so I read a lot and ask a lot of questions which to some professionals is a big no-no.
I'd like to find a nice stable practice with doctors that have been there for awhile, if anyone has any info please respond.
Thanks,

Actually the problem has kinda resolved itself, we got to see one of the doctors at the practice we go to. He has been there forever while the other vets I have used for years have come and gone.
He respects my stance and my questions, and if he doesn't agree he tells me why. Which is more then I've gotten in the past couple of years.
