Our Lilly has possibly torn her ACL.  We are currently doing some research to learn about how we can best help her through this.  If anyone has been through this, we would like to hear your story, treatment options, cost, etc...

I work for a veterinary orthopedic surgeon, I've been there for 5 years, his specialty is ACLs There are 2 different kinds surgeries and different vets have different reasoning for using one over the other. There's a lateral Fabellar surgery and a TPLO. So much depends on how the vet does the surgery, what meds are used during and after. Let me know what your specific questions are and maybe I can give more info.

We just found out that Olie's leg injury is likely a partially torn ACL.  Would love to chat with anyone that might have some experience with this... he's having x-rays to further diagnose the problem next week, and we are expecting that he will have to have surgery.  Will he get back to 100% when this is over?  Pretty worried about my boy... he's such a happy dog, loves to play, and I hate to think of the possibility of him being crippled or having to deal with pain for a long time...
