Garage Sale

·   Donate items for the garage sale

·   Volunteers  to sort and/or price items Sept. 17, 18, & 19^th

·   Assist the day of the garage sale

·   Spread the word and shop at the garage sale

Garage Sale Items:

1.   All clothing donated must be clean and on hangers!  Do not stuff clothing in a bag so they get really wrinkled.

2.  All electrical items donated must be in working condition.

3.  All furniture should be in sellable condition

4.  All toys must be together with all the parts, and games should be in its box with all the pieces.

5.  Pairs of shoes should be rubber banded together.

6.  Please have a battery available for battery items to show they work.

Supply Drive Wish List:  Heartguard Plus (green & brown box), Gift cards to a pet supply store, Postage Stamps, Gas cards (for transports), Fold-down large dog crates, Kong toys

Your pet will be photographed by an award-winning photographer, and an effect done over the best photo. A week later, you will pick up your proofs and "masterpiece", at the store. A $35 sitting fee reserves your space. Call (561) 391 - 1212.

ArfAid Aussie Rescue Foundation will host a mega-event, Saturday, March 7, in Mulberry FL. Jack & I are going! We rented an RV with 3 other people and each bringing just one pup! We have the shirt in most of the colors ~ hey, it had 5 aussies, we HAD to have them!

Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Fundraiser

As many of you know, SFSHRI is trying to generate immediate income to meet the rising needs of an increasing number of Huskies waiting to come into rescue.  It’s sad but we are seeing many of our Fur Ball friends being abandoned by their owners who have lost their homes due to foreclosures, and or the many calls from shelters where the Siberians have literally been dumped.

An opportunity has presented itself to us which will allow us to show our dogs, sell our merchandise, educate the public about the breed, and possibly find potential foster and or adoptive home for the many unwanted Sibes

The event will take place at the following

Muvico Paradise Theater

   15601 Sheridan Street (at I-75)

Davie

Saturday, October 4th

12 noon to 8:00 PM. 

Volunteers needed to work shifts

12:00 noon to 4:00 PM

4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

Please help.  Take a look at your Fur Ball and imagine a situation where he or she was up for adoption in a shelter with only a few days left to live.  Would you spend just four hours of your time to save him?  That’s all we’re asking you to do to help save the Huskies who are on Death Row.

Calling all Chi-ha-has!

Disney's Beverly Hills Chihuahua party ~ Saturday, Sept 27, 10 am - 2 pm at Muvico Paradise in Davie, FL.

This will be a day of fun and photos (humans ~ please wear a solid color shirt, avoid black or white) for chis and owners. This is a CHIHUAHUAS exclusive event!

Vendors and exhibitors are all donating a portion of sales to chi rescue, and some adoptables will be on site to meet & greet!

Owners (of best dressed dogs, among other categories) will receive a movie pass, for a later screening (as dogs are still not allowed in movie theaters)! Trailers on YouTube are hilarious.
