There will be a Dog Days of Summer charity event on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Earthfare Organic Supermarket. With lots of dog friendly activities and events, the main benefactor will be Canine Assitants. Click here for more info. This particular Earthfare location is in suburban south Charlotte.

On October 4th, there is a Dog Day Festival in observance of AKC's Responsible Dog Ownership Day. This is held Best Friends Pet Care in Pineville, a Charlotte suburb. This one will be full of dog games and activities, a micro-chipping clinic, nail trims....all sorts of stuff. There will also be Canine Good Citizen testing going on (Go, Astrid!!).
