Okay if someone could offer some advice because this is new to me. Sunny has peed on my bed twice now. I keep it covered with spare blankets, to keep it clean, but its a pain. She has even pooped on the bed. She can be outside for an hour, I let her in and the minute she gets up on the bed she pees. I don't understand, and I have to find a way to get her to stop. Please any advice is appreciated.

She's doing it to mark the bed as hers (is she allowed on it?) or send you a strong message (I'm upset with you about not allowing me onthe bed/ leaving for work, etc). She's going to continue the behavior, because she's getting a response from you. Jack was a little too cat-curious, at first. Every morning, he would go after one, as she mewed to be fed. I thought, hmm, remove the enticement. Keep your bedroom door closed, cutting off her access. Is she not being crate trained?

She is being crate trained, but I am home alot being a stay at home mom. So when I am working on my laptop or doing school work on my bed, the dogs usually just lay beside me and sometimes lucky sleeps in the bed with us(it beats an electric blanket). They are allowed on the bed normally. The crates are in our bedroom...The only room in the house big enough for both crates and our back door is in our bedroom. what do you suggest?

Argh, I can see your dilemma. Do not allow her on the bed until she gets potty-training/behavior modification, down pat! And by all means, plug in the electric blanket!

We had a similar problem. Lily pee'd on her bed (so not as bad as yours). It was the same sort of situation. She'd be out, and then bam the moment she came in, she pee'd on her bed. So we took her bed away for a few months, and her only soft spot to lie down was in her crate. She's not allowed on any furniture. When we gave her back her bed, no problem.

My puppy used to pee on our bed but by the fourth and final time, we wouldn't let her on the bed until he was fully trained to go outside AND to let us know when he needed to go. Now he can sleep on our bed all night without a problem! He wakes us up if he needs to go so no more washing our comforters over and over again! I definitely wouldn't let a pet on the bed unless he/she is fully house trained!
