Right here! I'm down to one Dobe at the moment (and one mixed-up breed with some Dobe a couple of generations back, according to his DNA test), but I think I still qualify. :-) I got my first Dobe 20 years ago this month, and haven't been without one since. Hopefully, I never will be. I can't imagine life without a Dobe or three... |

I have never had a Doberman. But I want one to show, two to protect me and my family!!!! Hopefully I will become lucky enough to buy one to show soon!! I LOVE them! |

Hi, If you are looking for a Dobie to show, be sure to save about 5,000 for a decent one and get ready to spend a lot of time on training. I show Dobies in S. California and I highly recommend that if you are new to dog shows you start with a different breed. Some newbies do well, but not many and most hire a professional handler. I'm not saying it can't be done, just make sure you are being realistic. That said, a well bred Doberman free stacking at the end of the lead gives me goosebumps. K |

Yes I have a show dog my self and I completely agree with you on the saving money, and the training it takes alot of hard work and is very time consuming. The cost for entry fee in a show is about thirty dollars so you will definitely have ur hands full between time and money. |
