Just thought it would be nice to have a place so we are able to let people know when one of MDS members dog has passed,so that way if you did not know about it or even if you  are not pals, everyone could send a bark because of all times it would be nice to receive a bark from as many members as possible.

Parker that is a great idea. I feel the same way, some of us email each other..but this way, it will also be posted here. We know it sure helps to get a bark that shows you care. Even if the person was not a pal.

Really great idea! I had barked at Amelia when she was sick, but I only know that she passed because of this forum post. Thanks Parker’s mom/dad.

I put a  LOSS OF PET  under the “general” forum, that seems to be a more appropriate spot.

Great idea!  Another thing I was thinking of…It’d be nice if one of the “gifts” we could buy with the Doggie Dollars was a candle for those who’ve lost a pet.  There are a few sites with virtual candle ceremonies for Bridge Kids, but it might be nice if we could “light a candle” on the MDS page of those who’ve passed…?  (I know there’s a thread about Doggie Dollars, but that seems geared towards ideas on how to earn them, rather than spend them.  But I’ll post this there, too, if y’all think it’d be an appropriate place.)
