Don’t know whats going on but eveything is soooo slow. Whats up?

Whew.. good, well sort of. I thought it was just me. I guess with the site growing so much and so many members it just slows down. You’r not alone.

Yesterday afternoon could not get on at all. was not the only one. We are having trouble with one of our cabels and the whole system went down last nite and could not use web at all. Hubby worked on it and can use now but takes a long time to get MDS.

As of this morning, the issue seems to have been worked out. Many of us kept getting error messages, trying to access any blog. Thanx, Hershey & Rob!

Sat.10:30am est I’m still experiencing extreme slowness.

i’ts 9:30am here, and i’m still having alot of trouble with it. i wanna post all my usual barks, but i would be here till midnite! at first i thought it was just me, but i feel sort of better knowing its not just me. i can’t hardly do anything and its driving me nuts!

When was the last time you defragmented?

Its 11:06 here, and it wont even load my profile or pals!

11:32 am east coast time and it’s still slow take a while to load up profile and also getting error messages accessing blogs. actually this has been happening for probably a week or so.

Had to type in username and password this time. I give up… Going to walk the precious ones.

It seems to be getting a little faster, but not nearly up to its usual speed. Hope Robert knows about it… be aware he may have to shut the site down to fix it!

its almost eight here and i’m still having serious problems. i cant see my profile, or pals. i can eventually see blogs and forums but thats about it. if anyone knows why, PLEASE let me know. i miss being able to bark at my pals!!!

You are not alone pal. Takes us sancho and Dixie forever to do anything. barked at one pal after much waiting. maybe tomorrow will be better. Woof

I have been having trouble since Friday night…. Very Slow Think of everytone though….

Yes still too slow. Had to come in thru forum. Still had to type in username. No more barks today unless it gets fixed.

i can’t even see my profile to see whos barked at me, and i can’t bark at anyone. so i made a new blog entry and was able to bark at all my pals. it is the only way i could do it. i’m curious about what is wrong. hope they fix it soon!

We couldn’t pull up the site on internet explorer. We downloaded the mozilla firefox browser and was able to get on the site but still getting errors in the blogs mostly.. We wanted to say ‘hello’ to everyone and we’ll try again tomorrow..

Just to let everyone know, it’s still slow for us, too…Sunday, 2:30pm est. It is worrisome to think we may be the only one, so judging from the looks of this forum, we are all having issues.

This is the first time we’ve been able to get on in days – it has been soooooo sloooow. Today is slower than usual, but much better than before. We missed everyone! 2:40 ET

Hi – we are looking into this – not sure what is going on yet – but will keep everyone posted. The site is running slow.

Thanks Robert … and FYI we would like to send out a big BARK to everyone on MDS … I was able to read one blog this morning and edit my own blog, but it took awhile. Still slow, and for some reason I have pal requests that I cannot open and accept. I could open my email. We will check in another time and in the meantime, everybody have a great day! We are monitoring the site to see if we can find out what is causing the slowdown.
Please update this thread with any info that you have. For instance, I have seen many members are having issues with the blogs.

We WILL get all these issues resolved – so thanks to all our loyal members.

Everything seems to be back on track, now. 130pm EST.

I, along with many people were getting an error message, when going to any blog from the home page.

its not the blog i’m having trouble with. the pages are loading slow and everything on the screen seems to run together. i tried mozilla, and it made no difference. it takes an eternity when i hit submit. it takes so long, i just go do something else. good luck fixing it!

What I’m experiencing is some pages zipping along and then a streak of the pages just ‘hanging there’ with just a white screen taking forever to download. I don’t really notice a difference between blogs, barks, etc. Problems seem random.
