We are trying a new feature out. "Badges". If you have a website, another blog, or another social network account like myspace - you can add a badge of your doggies!.
give it a try and let us know what you think.

Just tried it ... Hubby added it to one of his websites, and he loves it!! Great feature!!

How do you add a badge? I clicked on the badges in the home page and it prompted me to login (which I am already) or create a new account.

Login and go to the 'Dog House'. There is a 'get widget' icon. click on it.

Ok, is it just me? But what is a widget? And what are the benefits? Is it like all the new little "badges" under top dog, Hershey, on the home page. I already have links on havedog.com & tinavalant.com to MDS. ;-P tina

the widget/badge will allow you to show off YOUR dogs on your own web site or blogs.

The badges/widgets are for use outside of mydogspace. For example, if you have a blog, website, or another social network site - you can put the badge there and others can see your dogs.

Go to "Dog House"
Click on "Get Widget"
Get Widget Code
Copy & Paste the code into your site or blog
NOTE: Code does not work on MySpace as it has javascript, and javascript is not allowed in MySpace pages. If there is a Flash version of this widget it would work. Robert, is there a flash version available?
