Hi... I was playing the Dog Breeds contest yesterday and it came up with 2 kittens looking at an aquarium of fish. What a joke! So I picked the name listed that I'd never heard of before. It came and said I was wrong. That it was a Jack Russel. I took a picture of it. NO WAY WAS THERE ANY JACK RUSSELS IN THAT PICTURE. It made me mad because it messed up the good score I had going. Is there a remedy for that if it happens again?

I've had things like that happen a lot.  Either a picture of people, or an animal other than a dog, or a pic with no animal at all.  One time, there was a really cute little dog of one of the toy breeds (I forget which), but the "correct" answer was...Mastiff???  Okay, so they were having some fun when they created the profile, but the game software has no way of knowing that.

What you can do, if you get a non-dog picture, is just refresh the page.  That'll give you a new picture, and new breed selections to choose from.  (Okay, sometimes you'll get the same picture 2 or 3 times in a row, but that can happen even if you pick a breed and submit your guess.)  And yeah, this could also be used if someone just got a picture where they had no clue about the breed, and didn't want to risk guessing wrong.  Technically, that's probably cheating...but it's only a game, after all.  Each person who plays, knows if they really earned their high score, or only guessed the easy ones.  If a high score is that important, oh well.  For me, it's all for fun, and I enjoy seeing new MDS dogs' pictures pop up.

geeez, i hate when that happens.  But ya just refresh it and you'll get a new picture and everything.  Hopefully one with the correct dog. lol

The worst..is when there is no picture!!!...and you have to REALLY guess the breed!!..but its all fun and hey eventually you win Doggie Dollars...how cool is that!!!!...and itsstopped my mum moaning about buying them!!!!...She is Scottish..she is tight!!! lol Tessa UK...(that means greedy!!!lol)

Yep, silly things happen with that game, and I know it's no fun ruining a good score. We've resolved ourselves that we need to take the good with the bad and with this game, it's mostly good so....***big sigh***

When we get one that has no picture mom just guesses anyway to see if she gets it right!  Sometimes she does...sometimes she don't.  Today she got a picture of little rubber squeaky dog..She clicked chihuahua and it said she was right!

I have had fun guessing the breeds... and got some crazy pictures too... one has no dog in it at all...just a scene..the answer was dalmation...

Once I got a pic of a Great Dane and when I answered It said I was wrong and the correct answer was Lab!=/
