I was just wondering if there could be section on the home page that notifies everyone of MDS furends we have lost.  Like the birthday section only as soon as the "owner" posts a pup has passed to Rainbow Bridge that it shows in that section and we can all leave posts.  Sometimes we don't always see them in blogs and forums or unless someone else tells us.  Maybe when they select the Rainbow Bridge option on their profile page it automatically makes a post on the home page...I don't know how hard this would be but I know when we lose pets..it's hard...they're our family and it hurts and we miss them.  It would be nice to offer some comfort to those who have lost their pets quicker than just finding them by chance.

Good call Sable! I would have had no idea about sapphire until sometime today when I got around to checking blogs, and dingo was one of my pals!!! Thank you for letting us know, and if you haven't been to dingo's page today I think you'll be pleased to know that our furend circle has rallied support for sapphire's mum!!! But it could and would have happend alot sooner if your suggestion had been in place! Good on you!!!

Yup I agree, if you had'nt posted us we could have missed it for several days and everyone wants to support and give their sympathy to ALL MDS mums.
