Nova couldn’t wait to dig in to his cupcake, and when I let him go right after this was taken, he “wolfed” it down in one bite – no pun intended. :3

So, today is the day that my Siberian Husky/Gray Wolf pupper is now a year old. It seems like I brought him home just yesterday, back when he was nearly pure white and a whopping nineteen pounds at nine weeks old.

Nine Weeks – One Year

It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch him grow from such an adorable, clumsy and carefree little pup to a handsome, confident and intelligent adolescent—I can’t wait to see what another year or two will bring.

So far, we’ve only gotten around to the Pool Party part of the..well, party. He sort of ate the last kiddy pool, and try as he might, my dad simply couldn’t continue to patch it time after time.

Three Months - Four Months – Six Months – Twelve Months

Therefore, I got him a new one, as he would surely regret chewing a six-inch wide hole in the bottom of the other one once the 110-degree summer sets in as usual.

I’ll post more photos of him later when we have the actual party, compete with pointy hats, miniature cakes and one birthday candle. Thanks a bunch, everyone, for making mydogspace so fun and enjoyable —it’s awesome to have a place to go online to talk to people I can really relate to, all abour our animals and furry, four-legged family members. Thanks, guys! n_n

Happy Birthday!  That’s amazing how much his color filled in over the year… what a beautiful dog!  Love the swimming pool too- that’s Olie’s favorite on a hot day too!  Thanks for sharing.
