i been clicking on some pros,
and there barks or pro isnt loading it shows there page but its not loading.
is this happening to you?

My own page starts out with the rolling bars but they go away. But there are many pages I can’t get into at all – Astrid’s for one has been unaccessible today and all day yesterday. This morning I haven’t been on long but in addtion to Astrid I haven’t been able to access Baxter or Sophie and Banjo.

that’s what happened to mine a few days ago. that was with ie7. i had to download mozilla firefox and now thats the only way i can see my page and my barks. i don’t like it, but until they fix whatever is wrong, i’ll have to deal with it.

I just tried your page Pebbles and I couldn’t access it. Yours worked fine, Belle.

Ditto on Astrid and Pebbles, I can’t see their pages. I can leave messages, but I can’t see them once I’ve left them. I checked Banjo & Sophie and I can get onto their page. Someone called it the rolling green bar of death (RGBOD). LOL!! Hope they fix it…

I’ve been able to access all pages, but I’ve had to refresh some of them in order to get them to be ‘right’. When viewing pages, there’s script where there shouldn’t be any on some.

Just thought I would stick my two cents in ,It may be a widget or code you have on your page Because I have very little on mine and it loads fine,Even when it seems to be loading slower The rolling green bars dispear and the page loads fast when I scroll down and click within the page by the scroll bar.Some codes for myspace backgrounds ,Music etc,May be either copied incompletely or don’t work well with MDS so it will halt your pages from loading .,Sorry Nerds coming out gotta go stick her back in the closet

that would explain some maybe, (you’re not a nerd!) but i basically have the same stuff on my page that i always have had. it’s got something to do with those stupid enhancements. it’s been nothing but trouble since then.

Awesome is right. Its related to members incorrectly copying myspace code to the barks.

Boogerface: it has absolutely nothing to do with the new changes. We work very hard here to resolve all issues.

If you get a ‘rolling green bar’ on the barks page – it means it is loading the barks for the page. This can take some time if you have many glitter barks etc. These glitter barks have nothing to do with our site – as it is loaded from other sites.

This can be painfully slow if you have a slow connection.

We’ll look into ways to show the barks loading – so that you know it is working.

So far, I am able to see all the profiles of everyone here – and some of these have VERY large glitter barks.

Hi everyone. Who is having a problem with profiles loading, including your own? That dreaded green animated thing (waiting) is showing up on lots of pages that I visit. The error code is “line 473, char 1, error ‘white balloon is undefined’, Code )”. If you click on the lower left side of IE7, you’ll see an alert symbol when you have this issue. Click on it and it will likely tell you this same error code. I emailed Hershey about this several days ago, but haven’t heard back from him. I just want to know if this is happening to others. At this point it is affecting my enjoyment of using this site as I cannot read any barks on many pages, nor see profiles of the owner’s family of dogs. And, my connection speed is tested at 4.5mb/s. Thank you to those of you who speak up on this issue.

Folks – when you  see the rolling green bar – for some you (depending on your browser) take a look at the bottom of your browser.

You should see messages similar to ‘Transferring data from photobucket.com” etc: It is loading the glitter barks and photos.

In many cases, I’ve seen members posting 3-6MB size photo barks (this is a very large file) – on dial up lines – it can take 15 mins just for that bark.

We are going to try and come up with a new way to avoid members who incorrectly post glitter code or large files.

how do you incorrectly copy and paste a code? i never had any trouble before and i know you work hard

One little < or /> not typed properly by the person making the “code” can throw the whole thing off .

Rob this sounds like a problem that is related to the one you gave me doggy dollars for reporting.  Remember?  It’s in the Support & Suggestions forums.  It’s called something like “I’m having a problem”?  Nobody’s perfect Rob.  Some of these new improvements really aren’t that great.  I just made a YouTube player for hannahpriss, and I had to post it the old way because the YouTube button on here was posting the screen twice along with part of the embedding code.  And by the way, sometimes some of us post the code incorrectly so the recipient can have the code in case they want to put the picture or video or whatever on their profile.

And why can’t I put my music player on my profiles with the kissing booths?  And why aren’t the buttons showing up at the bottom of my music player (which is in my blogs until this problem is fixed)?  There are buttons at the bottom of some of the other players, but only some of them.

Personally, if it makes you feel any better Robert, as much as I enjoy seeing people’s funny little glitter barks etc.  I would be perfectly happy with them being gone :)  I know no one will like me saying this!  But, I have a gruelingly hard time seeing anyone pages or barks and I have never been able to see a video or listen to music.  Unfortunately we do not all have high speed connections.  That isn’t even an option in my location.

i copy and paste i don’t type so how can that be incorrect?

Robert, For me it is not an issue of photobucket holding things up. It’s simply saying waiting for “mydogspace/me/xxxx”, which means any profile page. It appears to be more of an issue than you are likely aware of. It is not always an issue, but more ofetn than not it is for me. This doesn’t explain why the dog profile side of the page is also doing the green bar thing. On my profile, if I hit “view all” for pals, the issue gets resolved, but is not the case on other dog pages.

I have had the same problem with the RGBOD as Lnkaye on my profile.  If I hit view all on my pals it gets resolved.  I don’t mind the improvements and it can be some pages just have so much stuff on them.  I took a lot off of mine and it works some better.  I haven’t had problems with many pages but I have with some.  I just leave it and go to another page.
