OMG!! MY two maltese puppies were outside (in a fence) and they must of digged theree way out!!! I lost my puppies!! :'( please help! ..

Any luck yet? Hopefully they'll come home... are they microchipped? Do they have on collars with tags? Keep an eye out at your local shelters, if someone picked them up and didn't know where they came from, they may have "turned them in" hoping the owners would come claim them. Many shelters have on-line lists with pictures of pets recently brought in. Put up signs around your neighborhood, talk to your neighbors, this really does work. I lost a cat once and put up signs and my phone was ringing off the hook...it still took 3 weeks to track him down but people notice these things. Your pups know where home is, they won't go far. I know this is a terrible experience for you... hang in there and do all you can. Please keep us posted.

Have you found them yet? or did you hear anything?

Did they have tags or were you waiting till they were older...if you got them from the shelter, were they microchipped? my dog was when she came fom them. Try putting up lost dog flyers and ask people showing them pictures...they'll turn up sooner or later...

:( Well actually i found out they are stolen, because there is no hole or way they could of escaped from my fence .. So i suppose one of my neighbors stole them! (thanks olie &JBLuver4ever btw) I didnt put a collar on them cause they seemed pretty young and theyed scratch at it, i got them from a breeeder in newyork and maryland and i live in Virginia.

I will probably make flyers and put them up on pet stores and/or animal shelters

I'd head for the nearest police station and file a report. I'd also canvas your neighborhood too!

It's been in our Charlotte, NC newspapers and on TV and I'm sure it's news across the country. Because of the dire state of the economy, the theft of dogs...especially purebreds...is on the rise and the thiefs are selling them for big $. I hope everyone keeps this unpleasant fact of life in mind, especially when leaving your dog outside alone or in a car. We never want to go through the heartbreak of hearing one of our friends is missing. We wish you luck with the recovery of your puppies!

i would be killing my neighbors till i find my dog my littie hamster dead and i was crying for a week dont no wot i would do if my littie millie got stolen anyways hope you find them good luck with everythink x

Yeah, you definitely should file a report, make signs,do everything in your power to try and get them back!!
