Ok, so a few years ago when I lived with my mother she hired this "pet communicator."
She has two dogs - a jack russell terrorist and springer spaniel mix.
I unfortunately missed out on the encounter with this "communicator" but mom told me about it. Very interesting indeed. And then (ok I know this will sound ridiculous) I saw on "The Girls Nextdoor" (the show about the women that live with Hugh Hefner) a similar thing (with a JR Terrier too!). Seems like this person told her anything someone with half a mind could have told her.
Has anyone used one of these services? What was the result?

In any profession, there are good and bad. Consider that 10-15 years ago anyone getting a massage was not just "getting a massage"......I have a lot of personal experience with many animal communicators, including the one who was on AP, Sonia Fitzpatrick, "The Pet Psychic". Nadia, remind me to tell you next time we are on phone...........it was very enlightening!

The experience my mother had was not at all bad. The thing was is that she learned some things about the dogs but if you don't do anything with that knowledge or know what to do with it, what does it matter? She didn't have any specific problems she was trying to solve. I suppose if she did, she would have had the answers she needed. It was nice to have a better insight but I doubt it really changed her relationship with them much.

Sounds like your mom basically had a good experience with the communicator - that's great. Information received in a communication doesn't always work the same was as information we receive through everyday means. Sometimes the info received in a communication needs time to subconsciously take root in a person, and then responses to the information can take place at a later date.
I have received information through a communication that didn't make sense or I didn't know how to implement until months later. If your mom has questions regarding the communication, she may want to consider connecting with the communicator again, asking for clarification.

Janet Is it possible to find out what a rescue dog's past is? I have a number of rescue dogs and I'd really like to know why one in particular acts the way she does...Annette |

Hi Annette,
What an excellent question. It depends on if the dog is willing to talk about their past. Just like people, animals may or may not want to talk about their history. If they don't want to talk about it, it could be for any number of reasons, ranging from it was too traumatic, they want to forget about it, or it could be they simply don't want to revisit the past. Do you receive any gut feelings, or hunches, from this dog? Check out http://talk2theanimals.net/?cat=15, you may find some helpful information there.

I recently did this with 2 of my dogs, who are from the humane society. I had serious doubts, but thought I would do it for fun. Yea, she freaked me out!! Knew I had more dogs at home, who was pack leader, etc. My dog Rosie, has serious issues with the door, you cannot be standing by it, and it has to be wide open, and she said that Rosie was hit by a door and hurt her left front shoulder! The other dog is a Maltipoo, and I always say she is ferret-like, because of her wierd behaviors. She told me that Zoey said she was not a dog, but she was a weasel!! I was close!! Makes sense to me, and I did not feed this woman any information, cuz I was doubtful. I am sure there are alot of people who say they are pet communicators, but are not. The one I saw I feel is truley a communicator and I would do it again. |

I have to say...I haven't had any readings on my dog, but I used to get them on the horses frequently. Mainly on my Chantilly Lace, who has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Three different communicators had meetings with her and one did a seminar that really explained certain feelings and, for lack of a not-so-cliche word, enlightenments. While all the reading had different main topics, they all would come back to similar tones. And, the last time, the communicator wrote to us, but said not to open if for a month. Shortly after, Tili had to go to sleep for the last time. The communicator knew, but didn't want me to cry for the last month of Tili's life. It was in the letter, though. I completely agree that there are quacks, just like in doctors, teachers and every other profession. The real ones, though, are real. They have a gift, and if you're lucky enough to find one of the special few...keep they're words with you. I will never get rid of any of the notes from the readings, just like when I get read. That information may not mean anything for a long time...but it will come. Enjoy! And go back often! Ugh...I'm so lame ~ I'm sobbing my eyes out thinking about all of this! |

It sounds as if many of you are experiencing animal communication - kudos to you! Animal communication is not a 'special gift' that only a few people have. It is an ability we all possess, in whatever degree we decide to be open to it and use it.
Communicating with animals is done by opening your intuition, and taking in 'extra' information through your normal senses. Many of us who live with animals are already doing this, but usually are not aware of it. When's the last time you had a hunch or a gut feeling about your pet partner which proved to be correct? Or you had a strong feeling that you shouldn't do something that proved to be true? This is your intuition in action and helping you.
Check out http://talk2theanimals.net/?cat=15 to get some tips and information about using your intution.
Keep me posted on how it goes ~ good luck! Harmony, Janet Roper |
