I read this article and watch this video about Palin that made me sick! She totally supports the mass killing of wolves which i think is aweful!!

she's not worth a vote in my mind.

This makes it even worse.

Look where it's coming from she thinks she can take second in command and she can't even run her own household! The mass killing of anything isn't the answer, we all know that. Too bad no ones thought to euthanise stupid politicians, although if they did there wouldn't be anyone left to run the country.

I've shot coyotes before when they have been attacking livestock. Also my husband and my father hunt for sport and I don't have any problem with it. I think this article is showing the situation in a very harsh and one sided view point. You have to consider the area she is from. Alaska is known for its wilderness and wildlife. Of course people are going to hunt for sport. It would be different if she was from California, I'm sure. Or maybe not. People would probably post an article about her attacking squirrels with a garden hose or something else just as riddiculous.

She has my vote.

There may be a wolf problem, but it can be taken care of humanely. THIS is not humane. Sport hunting is one thing. Animal massacre is completely another. Palin should be shot from a helicopter.

I guess abortion isn't murder either, is it?  Have you noticed that those who support abortion are already born?  Gimme a break...where as Americans do we draw the line.  Let's save the animals and kill the babies.  I don't agree with hunting for sport..what is that?  Killing just for the heck of it..so you can mount some animals head on your wall.  Some disagree with her methods (and I don't agree with all of them) but saying she should be shot from a helicopter...how is that any better?

What now she can dish out the pain but she can't take it. Of course I'm not advocating she be shot. This however bears the question how can you advocate mass murder and get upset when someone mentions sport hunting? Not to mention the fact that as you do not know me you should have no opinion of what my stance on abortion may or may not be. For your edification I do not advocate abortion unless medically necessary!

Sorry precious...did you read anywhere that I advocate mass murder?  Does it appear that I'm upset over sport hunting?  I just said I don't agree with it.  Thing is people are going to do what they want to do whether I agree with it or not.  You are not advocating she should be shot but in your previous reply you said..."Palin should be shot from a helicopter".  As far as your stance on abortion...I never said you were for or against it.  As far as I can tell I never directly mentioned you to begin with.  So if you took that personally...  It's like Panda's post...this article is showing the situation in a one sided view point..has anyone bothered to research and find out why the situation was handled the way it was.  My point was that some priorities of Americans seemed to be skewed.  I am against abuse, cruelty or mistreatment of animals, but I also could care less about the DNA of some frog or for that matter...even my own pets.  Simply...I believe there are more important issues concerning this country than this.  Problem is most would rather focus on what others are doing that they feel is wrong than actually doing something themselves to make things better for this country and the people who live in it.

By the way..you also commented that she couldn't even run her own household.  Is that from personal first hand knowledge or things you've read in the papers or seen on TV.  If you don't want opinions made about you then don't make them about others.

I'm sick and tired of the media dragging Palin through the dirt. She does a great job of being a wife and mother And the govenor of Alaska (did you SEE her approval rating?). People are looking for any excuse to mock her and make her look unable of being a good VP. Do you know why there are so many attacks on Palin? The media is run by liberals, and they see her as a threat. So, in defense, they come up with these outrageous notions (a good portion of them are not even true!) to try and convince the public that she is just some stupid unqualified hick from Alaska. Well, I'm not drinking the kool aid.

We have a small ranch in Texas and we're always having to keep an eye out for things that would kill the baby fawns and other livestock. We live in a community that offers membership in a Wolf Club where they take great pride in killing woves & coyotes, they even have a annual bbq to raise money to trap & kill them. The ranch adjacent to ours hangs each wolf they kill on their fence line. When asked why, I was told so that neighbors would be "...aware of the problem and help keep count of how many we kill..." I was sick! Every day when I drove home I cried. These animals are God's creatures and they mate for life; they are pack animals that have a community and when you hear them cry at night, they are "calling" each other home. They mourn the loss of each & every member. I came by one evening and there was a lone wolf laying under the dead body of one of her family members hanging on that fence. I have never been a violent person - but I wanted so bad to go home and get some wire cutters and tear that disguesting fence down. However, I am very alone in my feelings in the community where I live. All I can add to this discussion is this: Nature exist of a very tender balance. Wolves & Coyotes are here for a very real reason and when they are killed enmasse, the balance gets way off. Without them to hunt, the "weaker" deer usually die of starvation and the amount of liverstock they kill is minimal. As a matter of fact, we lose more livestock babies to fire ants - NOT wolves or coyotes. I have never been to Alaska so I am uncertain of what their "issues" or "problems" are with the Wolves. I'm sure this issue, like so many others, can be justified by the people doing it. Like the writer before me - we also harvest from our ranch (whitetail, Axis and hog) to put meat on our table. However, I can guarantee you it is done in a humane way and we only take enough to feed our family, we never kill unnecessarily. Anyone in our family who takes an animal knows they will be required to place their hands on that animal and thank God for providing and meeting a need. We are not careless hunters, and we try so hard to be good stewards of the land that God has graciously loaned us to take care of. Let's pray whoever gets in office feels the same and will be good stewards of this great land.
