June is a month for weddings …............or the summer solstice, August is known for the “dog days of summer” too that would be cute and of course September has Labor Day, so how about a tribute to our “working dogs”?

Since we have soooo many rescue dogs (yay), why not make one of the months : Bark-day celebration(birthday cake, favors, etc)?  Bark-days are the day they were adopted; since actual birthdays are usually unknown.

I can already see the look for dread coming across Quincy’s little face at the wedding suggestion

Then June would be the perfect “bark-day” month! It’s in the middle of the year so the timing would be great! And isn’t it another B-DAy too….MDS????? What a way to celebrate the “birth” of our favorite place!

Poor Quincy can rest now lol as Jack because I WAS eyeballing the cutest bridesmaid dress

As some of you know…our mommy has a crazy calendar full of weird days to celebrate.  Well April 30 is International Guide Dog Day.  That is something to celebrate!  These pups are very special pups and deserve to be praised.  Whatcha think?  She’s looking for more and just for a funny one April 25 is “Don’t Step in Dog Poop”day. BOL

Ok mommy got some more dates for you to think about:

May 4-10 is Pet Week

June 15-21 is Take a Pet to work week

June 22-28 is Help Animals Week

The “Dog” days of summer are July 3-August 11

August 18 is Homeless Animal Day

August 26 is Dog Day

September 23-29 is Dog Week

Those are all great ones! I’d LOVE to celebrate them!
