This is probably more selfish then anything else since I like reading about all the things dogs do but it could be fun. So what makes your dog/s unique? Any cool traits, quirks, accomplishments, silly actions. I just thought of this while listening to Orbit make his weird noise so I'll start. Orbit makes a noise like a pigeon cooing when he hears or smells something he doesnt know what it is. Buddy believes all the decorations on the tree belong to him and they go into his special hiding place everyday when I'm at work. Since year one we use unbreakables lol.

How long do you have? ;-) Prob the biggest thing is being all rescues who have no darned good reason to trust OR like humans...yet, they love people. Dogs: truly resilient, loving, loyal and devoted beings. When our 30 y/o Mol cockatoo goes off (daily), they howl. There's a sound file for my page!

Emily gets into wierd moods (daily) where she runs in circles around the living room. she pins her ears back tucks her tail between her legs and gets the "crazy" look in her eyes. we call them "pit fits" She also doesnt like to drink water from the tap it has to be from the fridge.

Unique, well I'm not so sure it's so unique, but sometimes when I call Sierra and she's doing the "selective hearing" thing, and doesn't come, if I call to her "Mommy's Baby" she comes running. When I get home from work, she gets lovins and pettins and then she gets her collar on and when I go to unlock the back door for Daddy she finds her kong ball (it's funny to watch her search for it) and brings it upstairs to the kitchen, puts it in Mommy's hands so I can wash it and then she gets a cookie. She helps carry in Daddy's coffee mug everynight and brings it to the kitchen, just like with her kong ball...and after we have supper, she and Daddy play the ice cream game.. they stand at one end of the counter and she talks (sounds like Chewbacca from Starwars) and tells Daddy all about the good puppy ice cream that Mommy makes and that she wants one and then they race around opposite sides of the counter to the fridge, where sometimes he beats..and he's only got 2 feet, and sometimes she beats, because she's got 4 feet, but she always gets the prize. I really need to get a video of this and figure out how to post it.

If I have been gone and as soon as I step in the door my Sancho is stretched all the way straight out waiting for a back rub. Even if I have been gone 30 minutes he is waiting for a backrub. Dixie always meets me with a toy in her mouth and lays down with all fours in the air for a belly rub. No wonder I have to have those cortizone shots, Ha Wouldn't have it any other way.

When my dogs sit near me when I eat, I tell them to "not beg" as they stare at me. They will avert thier gaze if I glance in thier direction like they are looking at my fabulous painting job I did on my walls..

When mommy gets out of the tub and she is not looking and the water is draining out I give myself a bath.But one day mommy caught me after I jumped on top of her while she was in bed of course to show her and now I dont get to bathe myself any more ohhh the good ol days but she laughed alot and still does when she thinks about it so now once a week after mommy has her bath I get one too. I love bath time!!!

rxie, cries like a baby in the morning until i come out to play. sassy won't let the other two near me until she has her morning belly rub. pj give me little love nibbles ( like he biting fleas) on my chin.

the first thing that gypsy does when i get home is head straight for me her head between my knees peeking out behind me so i can scratch her back. i have to bend down of course so she wags her tail and tickles my face! her dad and sister think this is strange and shake their heads!

Yay Oliver I do that!!!! yup right up to her face...now listen sweetie...try lying very still, and she will dose off again...and then bark!!! ...Its the only time on earth you will see my mum do a sit up!!!!!!....oooo and I fetch my collar when I think that my mum has been sitting around doing nothing long enough (which she does day after day after day...oh yeah lol) Tessa UK

when my doggie is happy and is tring to be sneaky so that when your talking you will pet her she gets on her belly and ARMY crawls right under your hands or right by your feet and then she rolls over so that before you know it your petting her and if you do it right her lips will fall back and she looks like she's smiling. yeah shes pretty cute!

hmm well my dog is an APBT and is the most loving dog ever and when you dont let him swimm with you he cries like a baby its really funny and my lab well lets say she gives you a bath if you sit in one spot to long
