You will enjoy it. We play it at dog events. Sooo much better than "Who Let the Dogs Out?" or Elvis' "Hound Dog" for the bajillionth time.

very true. i just was thinking of my dog scout troop and how it would be great for fundraisers. that and its just too cute and catchy to pass up (my hubby is not going to like the credit card bill.....lol! between the books and the cd...LOL) anyways, i really do look forward to receiving it in the mail.

I don't think this counts as a "dog song", but my Mum reckons that the old 70's song by Fleetwood Mac, "You Make Loving Fun" makes her think of me, for several reasons:-
1) It's a song about LOVE;
2) The lyrics are perfect to describe the way she feels about me;
3) It has an uplifting beat and conveys a sort of fun, joyful mood....the way Mum says I always make her feel!
Another one on her list of songs that make her think about me is "Yellow" by Coldplay....for a rather embarassing reason, I'm afraid. See, her brother's name is Sam too, so to differentiate between the two of us he started referring to me as The Big Yellow Thing, which hurt my feelings at first. But then Mum heard that song and told me that it sounds a lot like it could be a song about me, especially one of the lines in the last verse, "You know....you know I love you so."
So now I don't care what her brother or anyone else says about me, I feel so blessed to be in a home where I'm given lots of love!
