I Was Wondering where any1 got there dog and the story behind it.
Well, This is Dakota's story: I Have A Large Family of 7 soon to be 9 so we always wanted a dog to entertain us and 2 keep us company so we went to the humane s society in Milwaukee and we found 3 puppies that we were thinking of getting there was a black lab, and 2 Coonhounds we got a coonhound but I wanted them all but when we tried 2 take Dakota home She Wouldn't Leave Her sister and I felt so sorry for her so I had 2 pick her up and at the beginning we were just looking for a dog and apparently we brought her home but now I'm Glad We Did cause she keeps me company all the time and cuddles and I hope you'll reply back and I hope your dog's is as happy as mine is because of course she is SpoiledRotten. Lol!

Emily was a stray wandering around an apt complex my husband was working at. the manager called animal control and they came out caught her and while they were looking her over they said that because she had a "pit bull" look to her that she was going to be destroyed. my husband said that they didnt need to do that and that he'd take her home. yes we took a chance on a stray but shes a good dog, a little reckless at times but shes healthy and happy.

Buddy found me one night at a bowling alley, he was playing inside the foyer with at least 10 little kids, you've never seen such a fun time. When I went to pet him on the head he quivered and laid down and started to roll over looking terrified, I assumed he was beaten on pretty good. I think thats when I knew this dog was never going back to his owner, we called animal control to see if I could just keep him and it makes sense that they said no, just in case the owner was looking for him there was a 15 day wait so Buddy went to doggy jail. The nice people told me that he looked like a full blood border collie, I was like, "cool, whats that?" My kids and I went to see him a couple times during his stay, it's such a sad place for dogs. After the jail time was up we took him to the vet, got him fixed and all his shots then went home, thats when the real fun started and I got MY training. Training, work and fun for Buddy are the same thing so we still work on things and we are having a blast doing it.
