Hi All, It's Max! I am new to this site and mommy said she will be posting pictures soon!  I am a good dog and usually keep my nose clean.  However, I have one temptation.  I love sneakers.  I would rather have a new pair of sneakers than any other treat in da world.  My favorite are new nikes, white leather ones. Well, I have a problem.   We are at camp right now and it is so huuuumid that I feel like I am swimmin.  My favorite Auntie just arrived and I see that she has on some delicious new nike walkin sneakers.  MMMmmm, after a major sniffing and licking session, I determined that they have only been out of the box for a few hours.  Boy oh boy do they look chewy! I have been a good doggy all day and I think I deserve a good chew on them.  Last summer Auntie fell out of the boat in the lake and I helped her swim back to shore.  I was a hero and she told me that sometime she would treat me with some new sneakers. I think this is it!  Right now everyone is swimmin in the lake and the sneakers are over on the cabin porch.  They will be back soon and then I might miss my chance.  Do you think I should chew them??? I mean, Auntie left them there for me, right??? Let me know what to do!!!!!!

I think she left themthere for you on purpose ,so chew away ,and you can blame Nike for making such tasty treats....

I agree. If she promised you new Nikes, then so be it. Enjoy them while you can and then see what happens. I'm sure you'll still get din-din!

That's like when people give us dogs old shoes/socks/kids' stuffed toys to play with, then WONDER WHY we chew up the other ones. DUH, mixed messages, silly humans!
