This makes me sick. Hopefully someone else has this poor dog now.

LOS ANGELES - A man was arrested for investigation of animal cruelty after he tried to drown his dog in a bathtub for defecating on his carpet, police said Tuesday.
Casey Purser, 19, was released on $45,000 bail.
Purser became angry Monday after one of his two dogs, a Shih Tzu named Toby, defecated on the carpet of his Van Nuys home in the San Fernando Valley, police said in a statement. He then threw the dog in a bathtub and attempted to drown it, police said.
A neighbor who saw the incident tried to rescue the animal, performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and rushing it to a local veterinary hospital, police said.
The dog was resuscitated with oxygen and its condition stabilized.
Police arrested Purser Monday when he arrived at the veterinary hospital to pay the bill.
Purser could not be located for comment.

omg!!! that poor baby didn't know any better more than likely! people are just sick, sick. sounds like that person doesn't deserve to have the friendship of a dog!!!!

That's a really horrible thing to do. But I'm happy that the neighbor was able to save the dog.
